Product Overview

       The harm of P on marine organisms: Marine organisms are very sensitive to organic P pesticides. The pesticides of some concentration, which have no effect on some resistant insects, can kill the marine life quickly. There is an important neurotransmitter, named acetylcholinesterase, in the body. The organic P will inhibit cholinesterase to prevent the decomposition of acetylcholinesterase, causing the accumulation of acetylcholinesterase in central nervous system, causing poisoning. Severe cases may even lead to death. Long-term low dose of organic P pesticide can not only  make people chronic poisoning, but also produce carcinogenic and teratogenesis to human body.

       This analyzer can automatic continuous work for long-term in an unattended manner. And it is widely used in industrial pollution discharge wastewater, industrial process wastewater, industrial wastewater treatment plants, municipal wastewater treatment plants and so on. Depending on the complexity at the scene, for ensure reliable and accurate testing, can choose different pre-treatment system.


Product Principle

       Under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure, the sample is digested with potassium persulfate. In this way, all the phosphorous compounds in the sample are converted to orthophosphate (this step is not required for the measurement of orthophosphate). In the 5%-8% nitric acid solution, the orthophosphate, ammonium metavanadate and ammonium molybdate form the soluble phospho-vanadium-molybdenum yellow complex. Then, the absorbance is measured at the specific wavelength, which is linearly related to the concentration of orthophosphate in the sample. According to the relation, the absorbance can be converted to the concentration of total phosphorus (TP) or orthophosphate (PO4) of the sample.
